same here, goldhound, I know how you feel.
How old was she? Ours made it to 15 years, what is rare for a Retriever.

She was only 7, twisted gut, fatal before we knew it. I was shocked as i have lost cattle and horses to that problem but never heard of it in dogs. Vet said that both Boxers and Mastiffs are vulnerable to that. Rarely seen in other dogs.

sorry to hear that, 7 is too young, I also never heard this illness in dogs.
They say, get another dog to get over it, but that is easier said than done, especially when one trains a dog to listen and be good, what ours was.
