hey guys.

i want to play music/videos from my pc on the 360.
i have an xbox 360 elite, and a pc running xp sp3.
my wmp 11 does not detect my xbox 360 when i tick "share my media to:".. it is just blank.
my xbox says no pc detected.
my pc is connected to my wireless router "NETGEAR wgr614 v6"
my xbox is connected to xboxlive through my laptop and internet connection sharing. (i did not want to buy the wireless adaptor)

i dont have any firewalls, however i do have avg anti virus free edition, and adaware anti-spyware.

is it because my xbox isnt connected directly to my router, and instead sharing my laptops internet connection?

i have tried:
re-installing the latest version of wmp11.
upgrading the DRM thing.
clearing the DRM folder.
all 3 services are automatically started and running. (i have tried resetting all 3)
i had a fiddle with TVersity but to no avail.
i pinged my xbox's IP address and request was timed out.
