I use Firefox as my browser. Recently, I have been having a problem periodically with Google search. It doesn't happen every time, but when it does happen, the browser locks up and I have to use Task Manager to close it. I will initiate a search in Google, then select one of the entries it comes up with. The phrase "clients1.google.com" will appear in the lower left of the screen. If it doesn't disappear in a second or so and take me to the link I've selected, it just locks up the browser and never takes me anywhere. The cursor usually turns from the finger to a double-pointed arrow, I can't click the X to stop the script, and I can't close the browser in the normal way. The only thing that works is Cntl-Alt-Delete and closing the browser that way. I've Googled this phrase, but not found anything relevant to my problem.

Has anyone else experienced this problem and, if so, is there some easier way to deal with it than I've figured out so far? Thanks!
