If there are no issues while in safe mode using your browser then there is some program causing your problems.

Try disable McAfee and Windows Defender in normal mode to see if that fixes your error

Yes, turn off one thing at a time, check if the problem disappears after each one

If not, keep going on disabling them

I really think mcafee is responsible

Try this

Click Start > All Programs > Find Mozilla FireFox > Select Mozilla FireFox ( Safe Mode )

Problem occur still ?

If the above doesn't work....

Go Start>Run (Start Search in Vista), type in:
msconfig
Click OK (hit Enter in Vista).

Click on Startup tab.
Click Disable all
IMPORTANT! In case of laptop, make sure, you do NOT disable any keyboard, or touchpad entries.

Click Services tab.
Put checkmark in Hide all Microsoft services
Click Disable all.

Click OK.
Restart computer in Normal Mode.

NOTE. If you use different firewall, than Windows firewall, turn Windows firewall on, just for this test, since your regular firewall won't be running.
If you use Windows firewall, you're fine.

Same problem?

ok, the firefox safe mode worked. However while searching in I.E. I am still unable to, and the page freezes up. I have to use I.E for some things because for some readon Firefox won't allow certain games or images for me to see.

Internet Explorer has a safe mode option like the FireFox one, try find and run that

If that results in your browser working normally again, then you need to disable your add-ons one by one till you find the one responsible and remove it

everything seems to be great! Thanks so much. I thought McAfee advisor was to help but instead it kept me from anything.
