Whocrashed is suggesting hardware issues but I'm not sure what to start replacing!!

This was likely caused by the following module: hardware
Bugcheck code: 0x124 (0x0, 0xFFFFFA800507B1D8, 0xF2000040, 0x800)
Error: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR

Anyone able to help me decipher the stop's?

Is it dual boot, Vista and 7?

Download BlueScreenView
No installation required.
Double click on BlueScreenView.exe file to run the program.
When scanning is done, go Edit>Select All.
Go File>Save Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt.
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all content, and paste it into your next reply.

Thanks for your reply

Not a dual-boot. Was having the issue in Windows 7 last week decided to back up all my stuff and restore with my OEM provided disks (Toshiba Qosmio x300 that shipped with Vista x64) When back in Vista after the restore the system was unusable: going to a black screen with a sound loop pretty much after hitting the desktop. Decided to load a clean install of windows 7 again and try to identify whats going on. From there where I am getting the same problem but less frequently.

Followed your instructions and wasn't sure if you wanted the select all from the bottom pane or not so here is the results following the directions exactly

bsod.txt paste:

Only one dump file?
hal.dll error is pretty nasty one, because it may be caused by number of reasons.

This has been going on for a week or so but since it's a clean install there are few records of it. Also when the system goes to black screen I tend to power down quickly. I have to leave it at the black screen for a few minutes for a dump or event to register. Using good old google it appears to be a chipset issue so this is gonna be a [bleep] to replace the motherboard. Can you believe the warranty expired less than a month ago????

Again thanks for the help!@
