Network goes:
Modem-->Router-->Computer

If I try to ip config in cmd it says "'ip' is not recognized as an internal command, operable program or batch file."

If I go to www.whatismyipaddress.com is tells me 65.24.135.xx like it was connected right to the modem. Why is my router not setting up a network ip such as 192.168.1.2 for my computer??
Furthermore, I can't ip config so I don't have a degault gateway address to try to mess with anything about my router...

Where to start?!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
