Hi,

My computer will not download anything anymore. I have tried opening word documents and pdfs from email. They seem to download, get to 100% and then the document never appears.

I am using Internet Explorer mainly, but tried using Firefox as well and it did not work. I got an error message when using Firefox saying that this item was not valid in Win32.

I tried downloading something online and it did the same thing....

I was advised to go through the steps on the Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide, but I'm unable to follow the process. My computer won't let me download any of the programs on the guide. I did create a Restore Point, that's all I could do.

Thanks so much!

And I've just discovered my webcam is no longer working also. It won't turn on at all. I am assuming it related, but who knows!

Thanks again for any help you can offer!
