Spellforce The Order of Dawn

Since installing Windows 7 - I cannot install Spellforce - The order of dawn. Disc one will load through no problem but when disc 2 is inserted it gets to the very end and errors everytime @ Cannot ope E:/bin/ar.exe - does anyone know if this is a fault with the disc itself or the operating system windows 7. Might be a dumb question but i haev had to download patches all over the place to run other games on this software.

I find no reports of this game working under Windows 7. It is an old game.
