Having issues with hardware..Please help!

The ones i installed previously are in a driver folder that was empty before...Should I delete them before downloading the ones the company sent me??


Sry if I don't answer back soon...I have a biology exam to study for....

Yes delete the old ones and get just the ones the company told you to get.
Not a problem as I would like you to grab every driver on that page. Then after we are done You need to burn that folder to a cd with all the drivers in it.
Once you egt them all downloaded then You need to go back to the device manager and the first entry with a yellow exclamation mark named sm contoller is the motherboard chipset driver.
Right click on it and tell it to update driver. When it asks where you want it to look then have it look in the folder. It will find the driver and install it on its own. Once it is done then update the others one by one using the same steps. When done let me know how everything looks then. In case you don't remember how to get into device manager here it is again...
Please Go to
1: START and then click on RUN
2: Type in devmgmt.msc
3: Click Enter

I have an issue....I'm not sure if my burner's drivers are still installed...It says CD/DVD in device manager,but it says DvD multi recorder RW on the face of the burner....Is there a way to check if it'll still burn??

Optical drives do not require drivers anymore.
Have you tried to burn a cdrw to see if it will burn?

I don't know how you are going to be able to tell if it will burn without trying to burning a disk.

There are no drivers for optical drives if that is what you are asking.

No...is there a way to download them directly onto the computer and install them without putting them on a disk???
