I had to restart and kaspersky did not uninstall now it is bringing popups every few seconds asking what I want to do with each one of these files that it caught.

• Return to OTLPE, right click in the "Custom Scans/Fixes" window and choose Paste.
• Click the red Run Fix button.
• A report will be produced and saved in the C:\_OTL\MovedFiles folder in the form of Date_Time.log. Open that report and post its contents in a reply.

Computer wont restart after the fix.

I ran the fix and it said processing complete but the computer did not restart. Like it said in your above post. I did get the C:_OTL\moved files log I will post it as soon as the computer restarts.

The files AVP detected were deleted. You can run AVP once again to confirm. Any detection, have it posted and I will prepare a script to remove them.

Im still having problems with programs running correctly and hpphotosmart essential keeps trying to reinstall.

I tried running AVP again but I could not get it to run again it said it was scanning for an hour and was still at 1% and I did not see one file go by.
Also I noticed this strange folder on my desktop that had a bunch of dll files and the .exe file of a program that I cannot get to open. I have no idea how it got on my desktop.

I have tried AVP Several times while in safe mode and I could not get it to run successfully

Restart the computer back to the OTLPE CD.

• Double-click on the OTLPE icon.
• When asked "Do you wish to load the remote registry", select Yes
• When asked "Do you wish to load remote user profile(s) for scanning", select Yes
• Ensure the box "Automatically Load All Remaining Users" is checked and press OK
• OTL should now start. This time around change the following settings
  
  • Change File Age to 60
  • Put a check mark on both, Use Company Name Whitelist and Skip Microsoft Files.
  • Change Drivers to All
  • Change Services to All
  • Change Standard Registry to All
  • Change Extra Registry to All
• Press Run Scan to start the scan.
• When finished, the file will be saved in drive C:\OTL.txt
• Copy this file to your USB drive.
• Please post the contents of the C:\OTL.txt file in your reply also.

If the log is too large, upload the file to the Spykiller forum and let me know when ready.
