i have a dell dimension 2300 that is close to 8 years old. got it from a pawn shop so it did not come with a ethernet adapter. i have found this one on ebay SMC1211TX PCI 10/100 Mbps Ethernet Network Card. i wanted to find out if it will work with my computer or if i should get 10/100 Mbps USB RJ45 Ethernet Network LAN Card Adapter, or if neather will work. plz help fast. ty alwethernet

That card should work fine. Ask the supplier if it comes with a driver disk.
