Firefox open and closing tabs, computer freezing.

Hey, yesterday while i was trying to browse the net, firefox started opening and closing tabs randomly. when i tried to fix things the computer started freezing. so i tried it the next day and it doesnt freeze anymore but i still have problems with the tabs. also sometimes loads of tabs open at the same time. the buttons on the mouse keep appearing to be clicked when i havent touched them. its driving me mad.

HELP!
