Recently I've had problems with popups, and although most of them have gone away I'm still getting ones called 'Seeve'. Here's my HJT log, thanks so much in advance to anyone who can help me!

I would advise you to uninstall:
ViewPoint Manager
under Add/Remove Software

Disable MicroSoft AntiSpyware Resident Protection while we are working to get you cleaned. By guarding your settings it might hinder us.
The same for Spybot's Teatimer.

Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ViewMgr] C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Manager\ViewMgr.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Eurwpt] C:\Program Files\Pdda\Bmea.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [picsvr] C:\WINDOWS\System32\picsvr\picsvr.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [seeve] C:\WINDOWS\seeve.exe

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [MRT] "C:\WINDOWS\System32\MRT.exe" /R

O4 - HKCU\..\RunServices: [Volume Controller] VolumeControl.exe

O4 - Global Startup: Logitech Desktop Messenger.lnk = C:\Program Files\Logitech\Desktop Messenger\8876480\Program\LDMConf.exe

O16 - DPF: {7149E79C-DC19-4C5E-A53C-A54DDF75EEE9} (IObjSafety.DemoCtl) - http://cabs.media-mo...abs/diamond.cab

Download: DelDomains.inf
To use: right-click and select: Install (no need to restart)
Note: This will remove all entries in the "Trusted Zone" and "Ranges" also

Reboot into safe mode and delete:
C:\WINDOWS\seeve.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\picsvr <= entire folder

Boot back to normal and post a new HijackThis log please.

Ok I did what you said but for some reason I couldn't find the following files in the HJT log:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [picsvr] C:\WINDOWS\System32\picsvr\picsvr.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [seeve] C:\WINDOWS\seeve.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [MRT] "C:\WINDOWS\System32\MRT.exe" /R
O16 - DPF: {7149E79C-DC19-4C5E-A53C-A54DDF75EEE9} (IObjSafety.DemoCtl) - http://cabs.media-mo...abs/diamond.cab

Also when I tried to reboot in safe mode, it said the following file was missing and I needed to reinstall it. <windows root>\system32\ntoskrnl.exe

Here's my log anyway though.

The log is clean but that error worries me.
You only get that when you tried to boot in safe mode?

Click Start > Run > type chkdsk > OK

Let me know if any disk errors are found.

Windows found errors on the disk, but will not fix them because disk checking was run without the /F parameter.

The first time I ran it it said something but closed too quickly, before I could copy anything else down, so I ran it again. The second time I managed to copy the above message before it closed. It was only the third time before I thought of capping it, but when I capped it it said there were no errors found. The first and second time it definitely said there were errors.

I was afraid of that.

You have a few options.

First thing I would do is make backups of every file you do not want to loose.
Burn them to CD or whatever options you have.

Then run the chkdsk with the /f parameter.
This is best done without Windows running. You can reboot to Command Prompt only or boot from the CD to accomplish that.

More information can be found here:
