Hi there.

Yesturday I installed Windows 7 on to my PC.

The start up is pretty quick, but when I shut it down it takes about 5 minutes to go off!

Thanks

Pawanhammers-

Can you tell me a little bit more about your system? Make/model, processor specs, RAM and hard drive info, please. :)

And what OS was installed before you put Windows 7 on?

The make of my computer is Dell SX270. My processor is Intel Pentium 4 CPU 2.80GHz.

I have 1280MB of ram.

My graphics controller is a Intel 82865G Graphics Controller.

I have 1 hard drive which is about 37 GB big, and is split into 2 partitions.

XP was on before I installed Windows 7.

Lets take a look at the hard drive and see what you have.

Go to
1: Start
2: My Computer
3: Right Click on "C" drive
4: Click on Properties
5: In this field it will tell you total drive space and also free space

Please include results in your next reply
