exe files won't open

A couple of days ago windows vista virus protector came on and it was blocking a lot of internet site suchas facebook and google. so i downloaded superantisoyware and after the download went through i have not been able to open exe files and every time i open any program this open with window pops up and i can not get rid of it. and after a few trys of downloading things such as exe file fix the window pops up for me to run the intstall and it looks like it goes all the way through but then the open with window opens and i try to get the program that would open the istall but it doesnt go any further then that. so i am really getting mad and do not know what to do. so please help me!!!!!!!!!!
