I normally write in Visual Basic because it is rapid and so much flexibility.

I am wanting to be able to controll backlight brightness on my notebook. I found one single application on inet that does this but it is too crude for me to use.

Can anyone help me to find a way to access backlight illumination programatically?

Thanks in advance
