My regular download speed is 2 megabits
I'm going to reset the modem right now and post if the problem is fixed

Well we'll figure out if restarting the computer did anything tomorrow
Or if the problem is fixed permanently, it's because of moving the ethernet cable

It was 0.6 mb/s at my first try.
Restarted computer and it was 0.7 mb/s
Then I moved the ethernet cable into a different slot and my speed was 1.13 mb/s
Restarted modem and it went to
Restarted modem again and it went to
I've noticed jerky - when I say jerky I mean very jerky - movements in my internet speed, particularly in my last two. What do I do now?

I'd call ISP and request new modem (usually free).
New ethernet card - ~$15

I guess, it may be one of two things, your ethernet card is malfunctioning, or the modem.
I'd call ISP and request new modem (usually free).
New ethernet card - ~$15
If I were to do only one - if (I'll probably do both) - which one would I do?
