Is there an easy way to password protect a folder on windows 2000 without zipping it ??

other users at work... im just wanting to delete every shortcut to IExplore .. and then when i need it just go into the protected folder and click on the iexplore.exe to launch it.

ok
1) other users on the same computer?
2)if yes do you all log on with the same user name or is there no log on

yea were all on the same computer....

And this computer (windows 2000 at work) never asks for any kind of log on....

not with standard windows program
You either have to get a thrid party software or create a log on
for each user as it is everyone has the same access rights. I don't know of any way to password protect just a folder
