Have sky internet recently installed. Had previously used my Toshiba machine on Sky befroe and Virgin, was always good. But since ive gone back to Sky this time that laptop simply wont connect. Get "user has cancelled" or "user time out" error messages.
The machine will hook up to the net with the ethernet cable, no probs there at all.
Also I can hook up to the wireless on my nokia x6 no problem, network key, the lot, no issue so i'm convinced there is a setting missing on the laptop.
I've tried as follows:
been on to Sky for 1.5 hours - no joy!
Reintall drivers.
Reset IP's - change to manual.
Load network manually.
Roll back.
Different encryption techniques.
no encryption.
router Reset.
