Random freezing and blue screen

Had my new computer since Christmas, my brother built it for me. But for pretty much as long as I can remember it's been randomly freezing and I occasionally get the blue screen.

I don't have a huge amount of knowledge with computers so step-by-step information would be appreciated.

I've done a WhoCrashed analysis and the results are as below. There have been many more crashes than stated here though, I'm probably getting around 5 a day.

OS is Windows 7, 64-bit.

  • Scan your computer for computer viruses.
  • Check your hard disk for errors.
