I have been trying to find out what an exception error is. One of my clients has been having this specific error on a pc game, he is running Win7.

The exception Error is in a hidden window. I can't seem to find name of the game that is involved. I will contact my client tomorrow and get the name of the game for you. I do know the game is probably not compatible with Win 7, I believe it dates back to Win98 or 2000.
I will post the name of the game tomorrow as soon as I get ahold of him.

The games name is Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. Its compatible up to Win XP. I haven't seen the error myself but my client let me know that when the error came up all it said was exception error/hidden window???? He knows enough to get by on computers, but I am lost on this myself. What is an exception error? The reason I came here is because I was unable to find out what an exception error is.

An exception error could be a bad programming code.
Are you tried to run the game in Windows XP compatibility mode?

I know its not a bad program code because it works fine on WinXP, I personally believe that its a compatibility issue. I am just trying to find out what an exception error is. Broni if you know of a link to find out the answer to my question of what an exception error is I would be greatfull. I mean no disrepect to Jordi. @Jordi Ruiz he has Win7 Home Premium which does not have Win XP mode. Thanks though.
