Double Clicking in the Nav Pane of Explorer

I have set the Nav Pane behavior to open and display folder contents when double clicked on.
In Windows 7, when double-clicking on a folder in the Nav Pane, if the folder is at or near the bottom of the screen, the contents of the double-clicked folder open and expand off the screen.

In XP or W2003 server, when double clicking in the Nav Pane in Explorer, the folder that is double clicked on shifts to the top of the screen to provide the maximun screen distance to show the contents of what was clicked on.

Can Windows 7 be made to mimic this Nav Pave behavior?
