OK lets quarantine them

Run OTL
  • Under the Custom Scans/Fixes box at the bottom, paste in the following

    :Files
    ipconfig /flushdns /c
    c:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86\HPZIPM12.exe
    c:\windows\system32\HPZipm12.exe

    :Commands
    [purity]
    [resethosts]
    [emptytemp]
    [EMPTYFLASH]
    [CREATERESTOREPOINT]
    [Reboot]

  • Then click the Run Fix button at the top
  • Let the program run unhindered, reboot the PC when it is done
  • Open OTL again and click the Quick Scan button. Post the log it produces in your next reply.

ONCE DONE

Retry MBAM and lket me know the result

MBAM still freezes at 3 seconds, while preparing for scaning. can I run otl in safe mode and see what happens.
just to remind you on the remaining problems: _windows can't terminate itself at shutdown (so i have to unplug)
_internet explorer and the internet connexion don't work
_cleaning softwares freeze in different situations in normal mode.
ps: i just wanna know if i'm in a desperate situation ?^^

OK lets try a radical approach to this - I would like you to download and install service pack 3

This will replace a majority of windows files especially any that are corrupt

No problem - if you look on the download page there is a place where you can change the language

ok here's what happened: i downloaded the french version, it worked. but then the "checking for the current version of windows" phase didn't wanna start, and it didn't seem like there was any problem, so i went ahead and canceled the operation, so i can start another one, but a message poped to tell me that "an update is already running", i opened the task manager and noticed it was indeed there (basically, all the problematic programs that doesn't start do appear on the task manager).i suspect that its a windows file wich is not working rather than a result of the malware's doing right ?

That sounds very musch like it to me - allow SP3 to install, it will reboot when completed

ps: plz do you thing we can get through this, cuz its sounding desperate :D
