I can view avatars using my other computers.This one seems to have trouble though.I also cannot find an sm bus controller driver for this computer It is a dell inspirion 530.The service tag is 42hgqf1 if that helps.So in short my problems are no viewing of avatars in this forum and smbuss controller driver.Any help would be appreciated.Just point me in the right direction no need for detailed info I think I know a bit about computers.

Use the chipset ID utility if needed.

The avatar issue is IE6 incompatibility with this forum skin. Select IP.Board or CleanCut and they'll display correctly. Or update your browser.

I am runing 1e 7 I can see part of it if I scroll dwon then scroll up.I will check the link you provided.I can see the top of your head on your avatar.

Thanks for reporting it, I'll see what I can figure out. The only known issue with avatars was with IE6, or IE8 in compatibility mode.

Thanks for the link to the sm bus controller driver.I googled till I had a beard you found it in less than an hour.You could say you are a bit crafty.Thats were you jump in and say snatch the pebble from my hand young grasshopper.As far as the avatar goes no dice.

Just to let you know
I just loged in with firefox and no problems viewing avatar.
