For a while the hijacker disabled my administrative access, so I could not run any of the programs I needed to in order to begin to disinfect. Everytime I started the computer a command prompt opened that ran some sort of svchost32.exe program, if I tried to stop this my computer crashed (Blue Screen of Death style). For a while my computer was running horribly and crashing consistently, also my google chrome stopped working (still isn't), I can only get it to work by running it in "-no-sandbox" mode without any security features.
Eventually I got my computer restarted in safe mode (with networking on) and was able to run trend.micro's HouseCall online search program that cleaned up a few different files. I also ran there cwshredder program, but it found nothing (I ran it after the housecall, so housecall may have taken care of it).
Since then my system seems to be doing better, but I am still getting some weird errors about Windows stopping host processes or other strange things, enough so that I know there still must be an issue, also google chrome still won't work right unless in the no-sandbox mode. Spybot search and destroy now does not pick up any sign of the CoolsearchWWW problem, but I am worried that there are still files on my system (perhaps in my registry).
I downloaded Hijack this and did a scan, can someone please take a look at my logfile and let me know if I should still be concerned about any of this? I would like to get my system squeaky clean, thanks in advance for any help!
