I tried running it, the blue command box pops up, I follow all the instruction to get it to scan, and when I press enter, the program disappears after 2 seconds and my desktop disappears. Is it still running or is something stopping it from working?

SmitFraudFix has not been updated in quite some time too the best of my knowledge and use of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is a better/safer option...Plus I highly advise you do not run any specific Anti-Malware applications such as SmitFraudFix unless under the guidance of a trained Anti-Malware helper, this is just my friendly advise as otherwise you may have the potential of turning your machine in little more than a expensive door-stop!
