how do you get them cool taskbars, also tell me how to create a snapshot of my desktop and ill show you mine.....ive been here for 2 months and i still feel like an amature to u computer wizards :tazz:

You can get the "cool taskbars" by useing a program call Tuneup WinStyler, get it form Here. you can take a snap shot of you desk to useing a program like This One. Hope this helps The_Tiddler.

Dose any one know how to remove the boxes under the icons that contain the Text? here are to shot from two parts of my screen if you look at them you might under stand what I mean.

You can change the block of text by using tune up winstyler like you suggested.

I did not say change the text I what to hide the red rectangle that is around the text, I know this is possible on XP, My dad's and brother's computer are like this. And mine was but I have changed something and can't work out how to change it back.

It's really amazing that after all these years, Mr. Shelby can still keep making those cars look so kewl and classy. OneCool, that would be my midlife crisis machine. Now I just need the midlife crisis and of course the machine! :tazz: The only thing I would change is convert to ragtop.

Worked out what I had wrong. I had to go to Start<Conrtol Panel<System<Advanced<Perfomance<settings<Visual Effects and go down the list and tick "Use drop shadows for icon lables on the desktop" Thanks for the segestion it was interseting, I could not got get to it because of porgrams i have that stop bad web pages.
