I have to enter my email addy many times a day in several programs. Is there a way to record it and assign a hot key or function key to just insert it on command?

Not that know of. Copy/paste is the only way I know to avoid having to keep typing it in.

I use Firefox and IE....I just thought it would be easy to set up a macro, but I don't know how to do it

Search up a firefox extension called Lastpass, it's is a very useful add-on that i use with chrome, search it up and tell me what you think
