hello,

I have a pavillion laptop but it has this weird bug where it doesnt light up at the first try.
i mean i push the power button but the screen stays black. i have give it a couple of tries before i starts to work.
After that it works just perfectly.i dont know what to do i restarted completely.

please help...

Hi mbvictory1

There are many different version of pavillion laptop DV6, DV7, DV6000 etc what is your particular model?
It may be a power issue and possibly a flaky on/off switch, other possible causes include heat caused by
dust which can also affect the Ram and video chip, when if ever was the inside of the case cleaned out of
heat trapping dust.
