I downloaded the fix tool from http://www.votedemos.../0x1000008e.php and Im running the scan

crossing my fingers and toes .. IM due to leave Sg for a week soon and hope my lappy lives .. its about 3.5 years old now

It wanted me to create an account .. I gather we dont have to pay ? I have no cc
IM feeling my way through this

edit- had to back out . it wanted a payment unfortunately for the license . OH darn . thanks for trying ... I think IM doomed

this one is pretty close .. from what I gather its not anything I did . The problem appears to lie with a glitch in the particular driver .. someone mentioned there was an update in June for this and I just checked .. My updates are all current . I think if its not do or die .. I will sit on this while unless theres an obvious fix for this non tech . I wonder if windows will come up with a patch eventually .
