I've just subscribed a forum as I have a real challenge to face and I hope you could help me out:
Few months ago I've decided to remove the automatic hardware detection as Win7 kept changing my Soundcard Drivers with generic ones that don't allow me to use all the DSP functionalities ( I mainly use my PC for music production).
I moved house last week and I've detached all the USB devices from the PC, unfortunately once I've reattached everything my PC was looking to install all the drivers and obviously was unable to do it as the driver installation was prevented by policy.
I've also tried to purchase 2 PS/2 adaptors for mouse and keyboard but it seems they're not working ( I still need to check if the jumpers on the motherboard for those are enabled though ).
I'm running on Windows 7 professional 64 Bit with NO SP1, could you please let me know if there's a way to get access to my computer?
I can access the recovery console and there mouse and keyboard are working fine, I can run regedit but really don't know which key I should change to make the changes happen, also the recovery is running on an X drive wich is not my main hard disk (this is probably due to the fact that I'm using a RAID controller that needs drivers).
In safe mode I have exactly the same problem (no mouse, no keyboard).
Please help me out, I have a very stable software suite on my pc and formatting and reinstalling everything sounds like a nightmare to me.
Many thanks
Nicola
