It's software which comes with several models of D-Link Router (DIR-625 is an example) which protects form malware etc. I believe bsecure.com actually provides it, but I have not been able to find out how to uninstall it without the password, thinking of unregistering the dll's and seeing what happens....... With the dll's which it uses (it registers as a driver) renamed, it will not make a network connection at all, says cable disconnected, so it definately is involved.

Okay. Could you provide me with the model number of your router? I assume it's a d-link router. Is that correct?
