Hi, have not had the energy to deal with this laptop. It fades out everytime I get it up and running, the screen, and then it freezes, even when not on line. It means a lot of hours working with it after you told me what to do and I do not think I can get it back up and running. I thank you for your responses as usual you are right on, but I dont think it is worth saving. Sorry I thought I had said that, then had problems with home computer and that became more of an issue with me. Again thanks.
