Hey,

I just did a fresh windows xp install on a HP Compaq 610 notebook. I installed all of the drivers from the HP product page, except for the graphics and control center. The installer runs, but then there is no change - just an empty folder. The graphics card still shows up as "unknown VGA device". I've tried downloading from different sources with the same (lack of) results. Any clues what might be happening?

EDIT: If I posted this in the wrong subforum, kindly indicate in which one it should be.
