Also, after this, I restarted my comptuer and when it was booting up, it said to please wait while it was updating files or updating your configuration or something which may take a few minutes (but it was almost instantaneous) -- was this just a coincidence? Or was something installed on my computer? Any way to tell if anything was installed today?
I'm going to run Ad-Aware and Spy-bot in the meantime. Hijack This came up clean.
Any help would be appreciated -- thanks!

Edit: I'm running Windows 98 SE and use Firefox.
Edit: I have dial-up, but found out that my city is listed in my IP address, so that's probably how it did that? Also, I ran Spy-bot and it found an Alexa entry and a Wurld-something-or-other registry value and I removed those. Then Ad-Aware SE found another Alexa thing that Spy-bot didn't so I removed that. I'm re-running both to test. But I am still concerned about the "updating configuration" thing that happened...
Thoughts? Thanks!
