Joe,

I installed the latest version of Office Time and that didn't solve the problem.

The last error message I had was Data\microsoft\outlook\outlook.pst cannot be accessed.

I ran Office Diagnostics and when it was through, words in the emails that were on the screen disappeared. As I am writing this, the sentence is disappearing and reappearing.

Everytime this (whatever is wrong) happens, portions of the screen disappears, especially the bar at the top of the page. And the only way to fix it is to shut down and restart the computer.

It seems to happen when Outlook is running.

Not a problem Joe.
I know these things take time... and patience... lots of patience... and still more patience :bashhead: .
But nothing a hammer can't cure! :smashcomp:

I use avast! for antivirus. Over the last several weeks it has not been updating the virus definitions. I contacted avast! and they had me uninstall and reinstall it. Since then I haven't experienced the same problems I posted earlier!

I don't know how that could have been the problem. Maybe avast!, Outlook and OfficeTime share some of the same files and avast! was causing the problem?

Before you close this case, I would like to give it to the end of next week to see if that really did fix the problem.

Thanks!

Sounds good! Hopefully that works out for you. I'll be watching the thread. If Avast acts up again we could consider replacing it too..
