I am getting the same error while trying to install Win 8 as a dual boot to XP, the hard drive passed all tests and I believe it to be good. There must be another problem. I switched the dvd drives but remember this happening before. I checked the ram, dvd drive, hard drive? Wish I knew what the problem was.

Please start a new thread and full describe your problem. Provide system specs as well, thanks.
