Yes it was my uncles, i got it yesterday and formatted it and reinstalled windows :)

Oh my days its working... I didnt reconnect to the network after you asked me to uninstall/update the driver! So it was probably the change of pc name that fixed it!! Dohhh!!

Ok now you will need to update the service packs.

Start with service pack one then service pack two

http://www.microsoft...ails.aspx?id=30

Install sp1 above reboot.

http://www.microsoft...s.aspx?id=16468

install sp2 above reboot.

After the service packs you will need an antivirus.

I highly suggest Avast.

Let me know if you have any issues glad you can connect now.

Which browser? I suggest that you delete the Internet explorer Icon from your desktop and never use that garbage on your machine again.Try with firefox and see what happens.

You are not wasting my time I enjoy helping. :)
Try and install the service packs then visit windows updates and install all updates then install avast.
Make sure that you date and time are correct on the machine as well or you might have trouble with installing updates or even the flash player that you mentioned. :)
