I have a new system biuld and installed windows 8
but I just had to formate my HDD due to a system loop lock up
I was working on the main screen and the windows lock up.
Could notget to shut down or restart. Mouse and KB worked.
Had to pull the plug
When OS started it said it need to restart then it needed to collect info (files) to repair OS.
Windows did this 5 or 6 times.
Tried to relaod windows 8 but the HDD partitions were corupt or would not allow windows 8 install.
Had to remove the HDD install it into a HDD case and in a 2 computer view & manage the HDD removeing the partitions and reformate.
Do Not
Unplug your computer if windows 8 locks up!
