Sorry about that lol...I have Google running on the list and the other is Google with Japanese characters after it - I can read 3 of the characters, meaning "Japanese".

So you are okay with the Goog Japanese language entry, yes?

That took out a nice bit of adware remnants, so let's regroup now. Please post back on any problems we still need to address there.

Very good. Just a few last changes to finish up here.


The logs show you have an outdated version of Java, so be sure to update that:

http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
(For Java 7 Update 9 - trying to slip Ask adware/spyware, McAfee scans etc. to systems lately, so watch and uncheck it)

Once you have done that, be sure to go to Control Panel, Uninstall/Programs and Features and uninstall any older, more vulnerable Java versions.

You can also at this time delete the files/folders of the tools we used. To assist with some of that run OTL again. This will help by automatically removing some of the tools we used.

Just click CleanUp, and select Yes. When it finishes removing some of the tools and files we used there just agree to the reboot.
