I have windows 7 pro 32 bit but I want to change to windows 7 home 64 bit without loosing saved files and music. Can I install windows home 64 bit to a new hard drive and boot it then open saved files off the old hard drive that contains windows 7 pro 32 bit? Or is there an easier way all together?

The best way would be to disconnect the old drive and install the new one.
Install Home X64 and get SP1 and all updates installed.
Shutdown and reconnect the old drive. If they are SATA drives then make sure the new one is connected to SATA port 0 and connect the old drive to port 1.

Boot up and both drives should be fully accessible.

You will need a valid install key for the Home 64bit.
