Acer Aspire One Win 7 USB Speakers Not Working

I have an Acer Aspire One D255E Netbook. I have two external USB speakers (bought one for the Acer and another for my Iphone) and both used to work on the Acer, but no more. The wireless USB mouse works fine in all of the USB ports, so it's not the ports. Appreciate any assistance.

Sounds to me like the speaker is down the toilet Trover, why don't you go for a set of active speakers plugged into your Headphone socket.
