Have tried several times to install. After copying 100% files, fails at gathering files, settings and programmes. Error message reads: Setup can't continue. Restart the computer and restart Setup. When prompted, try getting the latest updates. :help:

The only option I can come up with now unfortunately is back up your data and do a full install

once all backups have been taken, is it an idea to delete any particular files, or wiping the c drive completely? just thinking of the best outcome of ensuring this install doesnt go way of last one

or will a clean install wipe all windows and registry files anyway

not concerned with my data as that will be backed up to an external drive
