Ofcourse they do work with iPhones. Though apple does not officially accept them, they should work just fine

I suggest MediaMonkey. It's what I use. I currently have close to a 1000 songs to my iPhone 3gs.

My friend suggested me to use MediaMonkey and I never had a problem ever since.

Better stick with iTunes, I found the other ones ineffective.
