after sevral hours sometimes 2 sometimes 8 or 9 and the only way to fix it seems to be resarting it then it runs fine for another x amount of hours then goes to [bleep]

just an example i get 60 fps allways (cap) on Leauge of legends on max settings but after a time it just drops to 2-15 fps...

it is a laptop but it has 8 gigs ram 2 gigs dedicated graphics and i have 3 280-380GB harddrives its a nvidia card. idk what else to add this is first post ill put anything you need just ask

1: Extract the Autoruns Zip file contents to a folder.
2: Double-click the "Autoruns.exe".
3: Click on the "Everything" tab

5: Go to File then to Export As or Save in some versions.

Open Autoruns, click on "Logon" tab, and UN-check:


+ "rdpclip"
+ "AdobeAAMUpdater-1.0"
+ "ASUSPRP"
+ "SunJavaUpdateSched"
+ "(Default)"
+ "uTorrent"




When done restart computer and then:



Download TFC by OldTimer to your desktop

• Please double-click TFC.exe to run it. (Note: If you are running on Vista, right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator).
• It will close all programs when run, so make sure you have saved all your work before you begin.
• Click the Start button to begin the process. Depending on how often you clean temp files, execution time should be anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or two. Let it run uninterrupted to completion.
• Once it's finished it should reboot your machine. If it does not, please manually reboot the machine yourself to ensure a complete clean.

Download Auslogics Defrag from the link in my signature below. Auslogics Defrag in my opinion is better because:

It does a more comprehensive job at Defragging
It will actually show you what it is doing
At the end of working it will show you how much speed you picked up
You can view a online log of the files that Auslogics defragged
Please do not run any other Auslogics programs other then this one as they may cause unwanted results.

wow 1.4gigs of temp files duno if thats alot but it seems so, and if theres any more running stuff i can turn off that would be great the computer came with abunch of asus [bleep] preloaded and i know you can get it alot faster if you clean it up so i wouldnt mind doing that along the way too if possible and thanks for all the help
P.S if i run like Utorrent again do i have to un-tick it again?

What I had you turn off was the autorun on It so you will have to start it manually when you use it. I'm sure in your malware topic the tech explained the possible dangers of using P2P programs like Utorrent.
This is your choice but you always run the risk of it causing a issue. How is the system running since all the steps have been completed?

alright, i havnt been gaming tonight or much of anything because i was shopping till 7 and i need to get up at 6 tomorrow so i havnt done anything tonight but ill report back tomorrow on how its comming and if its better, in the meanwhile, do i need to make a new thread or could you give me some pointers on hnow to clean up my pc to get it running at 100% of its ability, i know that with all the preloaded [bleep] computers come with its probably not even getting close to 100% and what can i get rid of to help clean it up?

The steps we have taken so far have gotten rid of the junk files and temp files which helps a lot. The next step is to uninstall any programs you don't use, need or use rarely. After that any photos, videos, documents that are not needed can be backed up to disks or a external hd for future use. Games you have completed and don't play on a regular basis should be uninstalled as they can be reinstalled when you want to play them.
This alone will open lots of room on your hd allowing your system to work more efficiently and quicker.
Without a full list of everything you have installed on your system it is hard to say what I would recommend to uninstall and or backup then delete.

it still slowed down to an un-playable lvel then was back after i restarded and is there any way i can give you a list on all the onstalled stuff on my computer so you could help? im mostly interested in getting rid on all the extra stuff the computer came with that i dont need at all but i dont know where/how to find all that
