Can a computer be reloaded with software for use after it's been degaussed? Someone told me that once a computer was degaussed that it was pretty much trash...is that true? I was under the impression that once a computer is degaussed that all the software had to be reloaded...am I way out in left field? :tazz:

when a computer is degaussed

Degaussing is used to completely erase all data and other signals on magnetic media. This process ensures that data is permanently removed preventing unauthorised retrieval as well as providing you with your original storage medium fully formatted and ready again to store new data.
