sound doesnt work

when i go to my start menu and type in sound and run it, it will start up and then i am forced to close program because the windows host process (Rundll32) has stopped working. i have done a malware scan and cant seem to fix this problem.

i have since uninstalled my driver and reinstalled, this has fixed my problem with my driver but my sound still isnt working. please respond thanks
