I'm in a bit of a bind as my next online class has started with UoP. In the last couple of days my laptop has become painfully slow. I have run several malware removal programs and attempted to recover windows to no avail. Programs take anywhere from 30 seconds to a couple of minutes to open, even if I'm locating a file on board. I have both IE, and goggle chrome browsers, but mainly use chrome. Where IE has basically quit as far as Internet access goes, chrome still has some availability albeit limited. Start up has not become a problem yet. yesterday i attempted a rollback, but i think the damage has been done as it made little difference. i do have malwarebytes, and bit defender onboard, had some success with adware removal. there is one that is still detected, but does not show up in any of the logs and i presume this is the culprit. It is very difficult to keep up with my class with my laptop being in this condition, luckily I'm not dead in the water as I have my ipad to accommodate with discussion questions, written papers is another issue. So far it has not denied me access to the UoP website, but going from one screen to the next is extremely slow.

• Stay with me until I deem your computer clean. A lack of symptoms does not always mean that the system is clean
• Please make sure you have read and understood my instructions before continuing with them, spelling errors in the scripts etc. could cause adverse effects to your system
• If you do not hear a reply from me in 36 hours, then simply post "bump" on the thread
• Please note that the forum is very busy and if I don't hear from you within three days this thread will be closed

Please download OTL (by OldTimer) from the link below and save it to your Desktop.

• Disable all anti-virus and anti-malware software to prevent them inhibiting OTL in any way. If you are unsure how to do this, see THIS.
• Double-click OTL.exe to run it.
• Click Run Scan to start OTL.
• When OTL finishes scanning, two logs, OTL.txt and Extras.txt will open.
• Copy (Ctrl+C) and Paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of both of these logs into your next post please.
