Hey gang, I recently re-installed Windows 8 due to booting issues and everything was working great. After installing the proper Nvidia driver so that I could enable SLI I ended up with no sound coming from any of 3.5mm ports. I have no way of testing audio via the USB or HDMI ports. Since then I have done everything from re-install Windows 8 to flashing the BIOS.

Here's what my build looks like, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Operating System:

Windows 8 Pro 64-bit (6.2, Build 9200)

Motherboard:

ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. SABERTOOTH 990FX Rev 1

Processor:

AMD FX™-8350 Eight-Core Processor (8 CPUs), ~4.0GHz

Memory:

32GB RAM (Recently ran memtest86 overnight, no errors)

Graphics:

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti (2x)

Hard drive:

OCZ-VERTEX4 (120 GB)

I have installed drivers and the BIOS flashing ROM directly from ASUS's website : Here

My version of Windows 8 is legitimate and was installed via a bootable USB that was downloaded from Microsoft.

RealTek HD Audio Manager detects when I plug something into any specific audio jack, but no sound is being outputted by any of my headsets or speakers. The same headsets / speakers work on other machines.

Windows Volume Mixer is recognizing that sound is being played, and displays the current sound level of specific applications. (ie. Chrome playing music, the green bar denoting the volume output of Chrome fluctuates, as does the "Device Speakers", or if I make Windows 8 play a sound, the System Sounds and the "Device Speakers" sound will show a rise in volume for a split second)

I am 100% stumped on this, and again any help / suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
