Hi
Yes - know the ReadyComm but use it. it came pre installed with the laptop but i rarely make use of it. why?
Because this program uses a service that it seems is responsible for the slow boot.
Let's disable the service temporarily and see if it makes difference.
- Open Services manager by clicking the Start button
. In the search box, type services.msc, and then press Enter.
- on the list of services locate the one named ReadyComm.DirectRouter (if you can't find it let me know)
- double click the service ReadyComm.DirectRouter to access its Properties
- please take note of the actual value on the Startup type box and then change it to Disabled
- click Apply
- click OK
- close the Services window
- Restart the computer and let me know if it starts faster

Sleepy i did wha u asked me to do but no change. Couldn't my AVG also make the pc verry slow on startup?
Yes it's the second on my list

Some of the errors on the Windows Event Viewer are related to AVG. On the AVG forum they suggest to disable the AVG Self Protection.
- Open AVG 2013
- uncheck the option Enable AVG Self protection according to the image above
- click Apply
- click OK
- Restart to test

Sorry for the delay, real busy at moment and will get back to you as soon as i possibly can..
What i meant on my last text about internet channels not the same.. i went to event viewer and saw some of the dchp and dns errors and clicked on online help.
They said that it could be that the our channels are not the same and therefore loosing internet connection. I do seem to loose internet connection from time to time..
Maybe i am running the steps you want to run to fast

I dont know anything about the windows programs and what should be where, and wont notice if a configuration of some applications are misconfigured.
I surely do hope that it is..
Thankx again for helping.
